We decided to call at The Sandwich Bar for a light lunch while on a recent visit to Looe. If you like seafood, I can highly recommend the crab sandwich. There was plenty of crab meat on it, and the bread was really thick. We also ordered 2 tuna and one cheese sandwich, all of which were lovely, with no complaints from us. I can highly recommend anyone to take a look, and we will definitely be back next time we visit Looe.- Price per person

This place is not temporarily closed as Google is saying! I had a crab sandwich there on Friday 11 July and it was stuffed with crab absolutely delicious and served by great people!

Came here last year and it was fantastic the sandwich was packed with crab meat , so as I was down on holiday this year I had to come back and I wasnt disappointed I had a crab roll and again was full of crab, yes people might think a bit expensive at £12.50 but it’s definitely with every penny!! The service has always been spot on too with friendly chatty staff. What more can you ask for???- Service

Staff are absolutely lovely! Sandwiches are so good we came back for seconds! The crab roll is incredible, they don't skimp on the filling and it tastes amazing!

A triple decker crab sandwich packed with white and brown crab meat, locally caught and hand picked, for £5.80!!!!!! Served on a paper plate with optional salad this is unbelievable value, and only yards from the fish quay.
Find yourself somewhere to sit and relax with a sandwich, coffee and my book "Professor Harry Parker and the Tunnels of Argonaut Bay" by Steve Pick available on Amazon kindle.I ate the crab bap and the bread was very soft and fresh, they were generous with the crab meat, with a little lettuce and sauce, this was a tasty lunch.

We’ve been coming here on our annual holiday for years. It is such good value for money and the food is lovely for such a small kiosk. The gentleman who owns it is so lovely :) I really recommend the prawn French stick

Amazing triple deck sandwiches, I had cheese and ham and the cheese was one side and freshly carved ham on the other, really good and fresh. My dad has the crab sandwich and equally as good, white meat one side and brown meat on the other. Will definitely be back for another sandwich before our holiday ends 👍

We had two on half a french each however easily could have shared one! As seen in the pictures is the same length as my forearm
Lovely food hard to find but when you do its a gem
We went back twice for the same thing during our holiday
They also serve a variety of other foods such as sandwiches to your liking and burgers etc
Must recommend!!The prices reflect the food quality which for me the quality of the food is far better than most of the other cafes in looe. Best crab sandwich in looe

Great place for lunch. Jacket Potato's are lovely & there's a fab range of freshly made to order sandwiches. Very reasonable prices too. Always visit when I'm in Looe and never disappointed. 👍👍
What a gem of a place! Tea, coffee, cake and a great range of made to order fresh sandwiches at sensible prices. Perked me up on my coastal path walk! Try the crab with everything special!
Huge fresh sandwiches. We had a crab baguette and a hot pork and stuffing baguette and both were delicious and generous with fillings.
